Tribute to Joaquín Rodrigo in Málaga

On Thursday, May 30th, a tribute to Joaquín Rodrigo took place in honor of the 25th anniversary of his death at the Sala Fundación Unicaja María Cristina in Málaga. The event, attended by Francisco de la Torre, the city’s mayor, and Mariana Pineda, the Councilor for Culture, was a great success. It consisted of a meeting with the Maestro’s daughter, Cecilia Rodrigo, moderated by Andrés Moreno, a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Santa Isabel of Hungary in Seville, followed by a recital of piano works performed by Paula Coronas. |
