Tríptic de Mossèn Cinto met great success at the Summer Festival of Carintia, Austria

carintiaThe soprano María José Montiel, accompanied by the Young Symphonic Orchestra of Castelló performed Joaquín Rodrigo's Tríptic de Mossèn Cinto on July 18th in the beautiful setting of the summer Music Festival of Carintia, directed by Thomas Daniel Schlee, held in the Austrian city of Villach. Sergio Alapont conducted the concert with a decidedly Spanish program which included Iberia, by Claude Debussy, Spanish Rhapsody, by Maurice Ravel, and Danzas fantásticas, by Joaquín Turina.

Carlos Vilán's Ballet Español

Nuevo Teatro Alcalá Madrid, Spain.
Until July 31, 2011.

rapsodiaWe  salute the successful premiere of Rapsodia, the tribute that Vilán’s Ballet Español pays to  great Spanish composers.  Magnficent principal dancers and a perfectly coordinated dance company together with staging that is austere but elegant, and costumes and lighting that are just right.  We highly recommend this Spanish dance show.
